A restaurant that lives up to its name in a sense that it has a courtyard with plenty of tables, but it's a fairweather proposition. Inside, the joint has a bit of an odd layout with a long bar and booths lining the wall. The menu is long and covers just about everything, service was fairly quickly and friendly. Prices have gone up in recent times, just like they did everywhere else.
We have been visiting the Courtyard for years and the food and service has always been excellent. The staff is always friendly and knowledgeable about the menu.
We had a nice dinner at the Courtyard Cafe, a neighborhood favorite with a long wait for a table on the weekend. Three of us had the swordfish dinner which was very nice and served with lots of vegetables as well as your choice of a generous serving of garlic bread or a small loaf of bread. You will not go home hungry! They have a nice selection of deserts too. Service is fast and the servers are all pleasant and efficient.
Ate on the patio. There was a guitarists providing the music for the evening, which gave the experience a nice touch. The food was fresh and there were vegetarian options from almost every section of the menu.
We stopped in yesterday to celebrate a co-workers birthday. The food and service was outstanding. I highly recommend the French Onion Soup and the Grouper. The grouper sandwich is outstanding. Everyone really enjoyed their food and the time there. I highly recommend The Courtyard!!!
Got Mediterranean pizza ...u have to ask them to put toppings on top of the cheese...it was good... the place is crowded and the menu isn't great but enough options...and the seating is tight... the booth for 4 is small. But most people seem to like the place.
Fantastic French onion soup, best I have ever had! Good food nice atmosphere. Friendly servers! Been coming here forever and its always fantastic!!!! This place is a staple and a must try. The outdoor seating is perfect on nice days. The sunny window seating is perfect when you don’t want to go out. Love this spot.
Really cool place to visit in Cleveland. Lots of good options, including gluten free, for those like myself with Celiac Disease. The bar/restaurant itself is hard to spot in the shopping plaza, but it’s right next to CVS. Love going there!
Best food ever, service is excellent and the atmosphere makes for the perfect spot for lunch with the girls-relaxing and not rushed. Sue makes your dining experience a memorable one. Will definitely be returning when in Brecksville again!
